CADOperators.com worked with engineers for the Major International Medical Device Manufacturer on site and via the Internet. CADOperators.com provided rectification of an excess of 500 non-compliant issues in Documentation Control to comply with FDA & ISO 9002 requirements.
Design and drafting assignments include patents, assembly drawings, work instructions, machinery layouts, tool drawings and flow diagrams for all Injection Molding Medical Device manufacturing related projects. CADOperators.com also provided construction document quality assurance, file management and maintained manufacturing documentation.
- 1999 thru 2009 – Various Architectural Design and Drafting Staffing Assignments:
CADOperators.com provides on-site and off-site design and drafting services for Architectural and Engineering Firms in Hampton Roads, Virginia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. A partial list of companies that have used our services include ITT Systems Division, Riddick and Associates, Henderson Associates, Bury and Partners, RM Design Group, Compo Construction, Seaflor Construction and other private customers.
Assignments include construction documents for all types of new construction, additions, interior design and various architectural detailing. Projects include local government contracts, interior design to an International food chain, motels, and residential drawings. CADOperators.com also provided drafting standards which utilize their new architectural software, detailing and other add-on packages. CADOperators.com also provided Paper to CAD Conversions to many companies.
- 1998 thru 2000 - CADDOperators.com assisted Engineers at a Major Nut Processing Plant with the following projects:
- Roaster In-feed Line;
Designed the first and final phase of the Roaster Line in their Treenut facility. All other Treenut facility systems were designed by CADOperators.com. This final project involved complete removal of existing equipment and installation of new and relocated equipment. Fabrication and construction documents consisted of floor plans, sections, details and elevations. Nuts from third world countries are sterilized and roasted before being shipped and processed in the main facility on site.
This automated system doubled output of previous system with fewer operators. The entire system was designed for filling boxes at a rate of 10,000 lbs. per hour to be processed in their main facility. Alterations include expanding wall openings for fork truck traffic and relocation of stairs to mezzanine level.
- Roaster Box Filling Line;
Designed the first phase of their Roaster Box Filling Line which involved complete removal of existing equipment and installation of new and relocated equipment. Fabrication and installation drawings consisted of floor plans, sections, details and elevations.
- Split System Roaster/Sterilizer Box Filling Line;
Designed the Split System Roaster/Sterilizer Box Filling Line in their Treenut facility. The project involved complete design of a new Nut Roaster/Sterilization process with optional end results for multiple applications. Nuts from third world countries are sterilized and roasted before being processed in the main facility on site. Fabrication drawings consisted of floor plans, sections, details and elevations. This system replaced chemical treatment done by other facilities while increasing annual savings and increasing output.
- Manual Bulk Box Filling Line;
Designed the Manual Bulk Box Filling Line in their Treenut facility. The project involved complete design of a new Manual Bulk Box Filling Line process. Installation and Fabrication drawings consisted of floor plans, sections, detailing and elevations.
- Mixed Nut Can Line;
Designed the Mixed Nut Can Line system in the Main processing facility. Can line filling design involved complete removal of existing can fill equipment. Fabrication and Installation drawings consisted of floor plans, sections, details and elevations of system. Cost of complete system was $2.1 million. The new system is capable of running four separate mixtures of nuts in various combinations and various amounts for the different size cans being filled.
- Container Slip-Sheet Pallet Configurations;
Designed and provided plans, sections and isometric drawings for pallet slip-sheets. The drawings are used as packing instructions to standardize truck container loading. This allows maximum transporting capabilities from third world countries and other processing plants.
