Caribbean Building Permit Packages may include the following that meet or exceed the U.S. Virgin Island local codes:

• Site Plan and Land Section - 1"=20' scaled (depending on site size) that show property lines, setbacks, contours as applicable. Includes earth change notes, site data, vicinity map and site legend.
  
  
• Site Details - larger scales of septic tank, distribution system and perforated pipe cover. This may also include environmental control measures such as silt fence details for waterfront properties. Cisterns are included if part of the building requirements.
  
  
• Foundation Plan - 1/4" Scale plan that describes the foundation system with notations, dimensions with keyed and cross referenced details of footings, columns, and foundation walls.
  
  
• Structural Plans - 1/4" scale floor framing (for suspended floors only) and roof framing plans showing roof materials, beam sizes, joist and rafter sizes, spacing and keyed details. Slab on grade does not require floor framing.
  
  
• Floor Plans - 1/4" scale detailed plans, for each level showing dimensions, wall arrangements, windows, door sizes, cabinets & plumbing fixtures, stair arrangements, etc. Plans are keyed and cross referenced to building elevations and building sections. A door and window schedule describes suggested materials and rough openings.
  
  
• Exterior Elevations - 1/4" scale drawings of all four sides showing exterior materials, measurements, windows, doors, roof configuration, etc.
  
  
• Interior Elevations - Detailed drawings of kitchen & bath cabinet elevations and other interior elements as required describing custom construction.

• Building Cross Section - A vertical cutaway view of the building from roof to foundation showing configuration of construction, framing, flooring, roofing, etc.
  
  
• Wall Sections and Detail Drawings - larger scales of typical wall sections and details to generally describe the construction and materials.
  
  
• Complete 3D models and photo realistic renderings. These are typically placed on actual site as if the building already exists.
  
  
• Plumbing Plans - 1/4" scale plumbing drawings are included which show diagrammatic layout of sanitary and vent piping.
  
  
• Plumbing Isometric - an Isometric view showing the entire sanitary and vent piping system with pipe sizes that are within the building.
  
  
• Electrical Plans - 1/4" scale electrical plans that show suggested security, phone, cable and electrical fixtures with wiring schematic.
  
  
• Electrical Details and Diagrams - Electric & Telephone Service Detail, Electrical Load Distribution Diagram and Electrical Notes. Your local contractor or engineer must still size and design the system to ensure correct operation of any electrical equipment for your region and climate conditions and to comply with applicable codes.
