We cater to government contractors, developers, builders, architectural/ engineering firms and work directly with the public.

We are seeking an experienced Proposal Writer for Business Development. Includes writing re-compete proposals (immediate need), responding to government Requests for Proposal, Statements of Qualification, and other assigned proposal and marketing tasks. We are a small tight knit group of 6 that dictate our own part-time hours of operation and are looking to expand to become a full time team. In order to do that, we must fill this position.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties
* Writing, developing, editing and producing winning proposals for Federal Government.
* Track business opportunities through various internet sites and references.
* Development of standard proposal tools, graphics and documents.
* Develop corporate standards in the preparation of Business Development material.
* Support ongoing business development activities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Experience writing proposals for Government business is required, familiarity with FAR requirements.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team with Microsoft Office.
* Must be analytical with attention to detail.

Place of Perfomance
* Must meet minimally once a week at office to discuss strategy with team. We will provide work station in our office, relaxed atmosphere.
* Once terms and conditions are established (TBD), can be more of a work at home position for the right candidate based on office performance.
* Daily SharePoint access required for progress uploads.
* This is only a part-time position which may lead to full time with a winning contract.

Compensation
* 1099 or B2B only, this is NOT a w2 position, no benefits at this time.
* Pay is negotiable and MUST be in writing prior to starting work.
* You are required to submit invoices for work performed, we can supply the templates.
* Prefer to pay combination of lower salary with high percentage bonus from winning contracts.
